Are bass and guitar lessons suitable for complete beginners?
Yes. You can start with no experience on bass or guitar. We’ll work on the basics at your pace, using music that interests you and adjusting the approach as we learn what helps you.
Do you teach intermediate and advanced players?
Yes. Tell me what you’re working on and where you feel stuck. We can shape lessons around your goals, from timing and technique to understanding the music you want to play.
Do you offer music lessons for children and adults?
Lessons are available for children aged 8 and up and adults of any age. The pace and activities are adapted to the student’s experience, interests, and needs.
Where are lessons available in San Francisco?
In-person bass and guitar lessons take place in San Francisco’s Sunset District. Online lessons are also available over Zoom.
How do you adapt lessons to how I learn?
We’ll try explanations, listening, playing together, and smaller steps to find what helps. Your feedback shapes the lesson. The aim is to develop your skills while supporting a positive relationship with music.
Do I need my own bass or guitar?
Having an instrument gives you a way to explore and practise between lessons. If you don’t have one yet, mention that in your enquiry so we can discuss what would suit you before you buy.
How much do lessons cost, and how long are they?
Contact me to discuss current rates and lesson lengths. We’ll work out the details before you book, based on the student and the lesson format.
What happens after I enquire about lessons?
Once enquiries open, use the form to share your instrument, experience, and goals. We’ll discuss availability and next steps before arranging a lesson.
